No Sew Tote Bag

So, how do we turn t-shirts into Tote bag without sewing?  Cut and Tie, simple.

Get a T-shirt.

Cut off sleeves. Cut around neck, so opening is wide enough as a bag.

Make slits on the bottom. maybe 1 inch wide for each. Length could be vary as long as you can tie.

Tie 2 pieces together first, then tie different pair to make stronger. Slits could be much longer. If you turn T-shirts inside out and tie, the slits would stay inside the bag and invisible. Be creative and have fun.

Over 100 of unwanted new/used T-shirts were donated for my upcoming project for Queens Art Intervention 2016. 86 of them were donated in Japan during my visit and I carried all in my suit case and was very heavy.
